21 March 2005 - Biovitrum, a privately held Swedish biotechnology company, has acquired Cambridge Biotechnology Limited (CBT). CBT will continue to work as an autonomous, highly skilled and innovative R&D unit, based in Cambridge. CBT is a start up drug discovery company with proprietary lead compounds for diseases with large unmet medical need, a proprietary technology for the discovery of new drug targets, and extensive experience in the peptoid approach of designing drugs.
