AMURA
is a drug discovery, design and development company. The lead compound
in preclinical development addresses a major cause of bacterial
resistance. The drug discovery effort is focussed on cysteinyl protease
inhibitors where they have several hits with potential for treatment of
osteoporosis, cancer, allergic diseases and bacterial and parasitic
infections. They have invented a chemoselective linker technology
(AmLinker�) that has many potential uses including vaccines, wound
dressings and screening technologies.
